The Question I Finally Said Out Loud
On a stage in Lagos, Portugal, I argued against the thing we are trained to chase. The talk is live now.
For years I believed the goal was to have the answer. Faster than everyone, and sure.
Then I stood on a TEDx stage in Lagos, Portugal and argued the opposite.
The doorways that remake a life, a diagnosis, a reinvention, a leaving, the unraveling no one else can see, do not open to certainty. They open to the question you have been avoiding.
What wants to end, and what wants to begin? What would be true if you stopped performing strength? What are you pretending you do not know? What would love do?
Not a map. A compass, and the nerve to stay in the not-knowing long enough to listen.
The 16-minute talk is live now. Watching it is the best way to understand what I write about and how I work.
